Location
The headlamp range adjustment control unit is located below the front passenger seat.
Task
To exchange data, the headlamp range adjustment control unit is connected to the Controller Area Network bus class C (engine compartment) (CAN-C) and with the headlamp range adjustment bus (HRA bus).
The headlamp range adjustment control unit automatically maintains the incline angle of the light beam of the left front lamp unit (E1) and of the right front lamp unit (E2), irrespective of the vehicle load, within the limits prescribed by law. Headlamp range changes, which may be caused by dynamic vehicle inclination changes such as accelerating or decelerating, are also compensated. Moreover, the headlamp range adjustment control unit implements the control of the curve illumination.
