Function requirements
^ Circuit 30
^ Low beam switch in center position (low beam position)

Function
The exterior lamp switch is switched to "low beam" position and transmits the "low beam On" request to the driver-side SAM control unit.
The driver-side SAM control unit actuates the left low beam in the left front lamp unit (E1) and simultaneously transmits the "low beam On" signal to the front passenger-side SAM control unit over CAN-B.

The front passenger-side SAM control unit actuates the right low beam in the right front lamp unit (E2).

The standing lamp remains actuated while the low beam is switched on. Actuation of the instrument cluster with the "low beam On" signal triggers a chime when the transmitter key (A8/1) is removed and the driver door is open.
