Wiper Arm Test And Adjustment Values:

The wiper system may only be adjusted if the test values of wiper arms deviate from the tolerance range in parked position

In right-hand drive vehicles, the sign of the corresponding test and adjustment value has to be changed.

1 Install choke angle gauge (A) to driver-side wiper arm (1).
2 Open engine hood.
3 Loosen screw (2).
4 Attach pulling hook at wiper system bracket (3) and move wiper system bracket (3) horizontally until the correct adjustment value is shown on the scale of the choke angle gauge (A).

5 Tighten bolt (2) to the prescribed tightening torque.
6 Close engine hood.
7 Remove choke angle gauge (A) from driver-side wiper arm (1).
