Complaint:
The following complaints are possible when an audio source is connected via the AUX jack in the glove box:
1. No sound from the right-hand speakers
2. Poor audio quality and no bass on the right-hand side
3. Insufficient sound reproduction, sound is lower that normal when compared with other vehicle using identical aux device.
Cause:
The AUX wiring harness between the head unit and the jack is incorrectly connected
Remedy:
Change pin assignment in connector housing on head unit as described below:
Pin assignment
Old: pin 3: shielding - New: pin 3: shielding - UNCHANGED
Old: pin 4: black - New: pin 4: yellow
Old: pin 9: brown - New: pin 9: black
Old: pin 10: yellow - New: pin 10: brown
