Complaint:

After replacing the CD changer, the new CD changer cannot be connected to the MOST wiring harness in the vehicle

Cause:

The CD changer A 211 820 24 89; hardware 47/01, software 50/01 (Q4) differs from A 211 820 24 89; hardware 34/02, software 50/01 (Q5) with a different connector housing for the MOST connector.

Remedy:

The MOST connector on the vehicle wiring harness must be connected to the housing A 001 545 20 30 on the fiber optical cable contact carrier (2x optical)
