Complaint:
Display message: "AIRMATIC - Service Required".
The following fault codes are entered in the control unit and displayed in the quick test:
FC 5320 Drain valve: Open circuit or insufficient valve current in model series 211, 219.
FC 5260 Drain valve: Open circuit or insufficient valve current in model series 211.
FC 5250 Drain valve: Open circuit or insufficient valve current in model series 251, 164.
Cause:
Possible cause:
Defective connecting cables to drain valve at AIRMATIC compressor. This results in setting of the above fault codes.
Remedy:
Throughly examine electrical connecting cable of drain valve in area of compressor for chafe marks and discontinuities.
Especially check the cable in the connector by pulling it gently and carefully examine the cables under the black insulation tape for discontinuity by pulling and flexing them. Repair defective cables if necessary
