Function
If the vehicle speeds drops below approx. 8 km/h, the driver-side SAM control unit switches the wiper motor back by one stage. If intermittent wiping is active the longest wiper interval is selected.

Function abort
The speed reduction is canceled by turning the combination switch to another position or by operating the touch wiping or washing functions.
If the value of approx.
8 km/h is exceeded again as the vehicle speed increases, the driver-side SAM control unit automatically switches the wiper motor back to the wiper stage set on the combination switch.
