Component Identification:

Function prerequisites
^ Circuit 15 ON
^ No overvoltage or undervoltage
^ 5 min after circuit 15 OFF, when the front doors have not been opened (delay time) and the vehicle has not been locked from the outside.
^ Overhead control panel control module (N70) recognizes the non-actuated state (roof system switch (N70s1) not actuated for longer than 40 ms) before the roof system switch (N70s1) is actuated.

Function
^ The sliding roof is opened when the roof system switch (N70s1) is pressed toward rear until the first catch point.
^ When the roof system switch (N70s1) is pressed toward the rear and up to the first catch point, the pop-up roof is raised

The overhead control panel control module (N70) reads in the status of the roof system switch (N70s1) and actuates the SR motor (M12m1) as long as the roof system switch (N70s1) is actuated.
If the overhead control panel control module (N70) detects a lockup, the "open sliding roof" function is aborted.

The "Open sliding roof" function is restricted in the desynchronized state; actuation is only possible for a short time.Then the switch must be released and pressed again before the roof system switch (N70s1) can be reactuated.
