GF82.62-P-3105-04TU Antenna Amplifier Module, Function

GF82.62-P-3105-04TU Antenna Amplifier Module, Function
- with CODE (528) HIGH Class USA

Filtering and amplifying radio frequency signals
Electrical filters of the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) and right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) select the desired frequency bands (AM, FM) from the high-frequency signals coming in from the rear window antennae.
Depending on the country (e.g. united States Of America, Japan), these filters are designed differently, as the transmission frequencies depend on the country.
The filtered out frequency bands are then amplified selectively and are led via data lines to the corresponding control units, e.g.:
^ Audio gateway control unit (N93/1)
^ EIS control unit (N73)

Demodulation of RCL signals
The signals for the two-way radio controlled central locking (radio remote central locking) are demodulated by the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) and digitized.
The data thus prepared is transmitted to the electronic ignition switch control unit (N73) via a separate data line and placed there on the interior CAN (CAN-B)

During demodulation, the useful signal (e.g. the RRCL signal) is separated from the high-frequency carrier frequency (transmitter frequency).

Equipment for model 211.0
The functionality of the left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) corresponds to the three series for radio operation:

^ With code (528) HIGH Class USA with AM/FM amplifier with antenna diversity and radio remote central locking receivers as well as 2 TV amplifiers

The right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) with additional TV amplifiers is also needed for TV mode. In addition this module contains the Keyless Go receiver.

With code (528) HIGH Class USA the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) is a purely passive Keyless Go module, as TV reception is not applicable here.

Equipment for Model 211.2
The left antenna amplifier module (A2/64) is the receiver for AM/ FM and radio remote central locking (RRCL). In vehicles with FM diversity the AM amplifier with diversity unit as well as radio remote central locking receiver are fitted in the same housing. The assembly is supplemented by a separate dual FM-amplifier which supplements window antenna amplifier module 1 (A2/71).
The television reception is realized by the right antenna amplifier module (A2/65) in conjunction with window antenna amplifier module 2 (A2/72).
To rule out overlap of the radio and TV frequency ranges, the antenna amplifier modules belonging to the corresponding system are installed diagonally.
