The roof antenna is installed on the rear of the vehicle roof.

Tasks (up to model year 09)
^ Transmitting telephone signals (D-net and E-net)
^ Receiving and forwarding telephone signals via the E-net compensator (A28/3) and the UPCI [UHI] cell phone holder (Universal Handy Interface) (A34/15) to the Universal Cell phone Interface (UPCI [UHI]) control unit (N123/1).
^ Receiving and forwarding Global Positioning System (GPS) signals to the navigation processor (N41/1).
^ Receiving and forwarding satellite digital audio radio (satellite radio) (SDAR) signals (with code (536), SIRIUS satellite radio and code (494), USA version).
