AR82.60-P-0001-01TH Remove/Install Fiber Optical Cable Module For The Media Oriented System Transport (MOST)
- with CODE (860) TV tuner

1 Remove screw (35) and swivel navigation processor (N41/1) in bracket to one side until the connectors are accessible.







2 Detach connector (31) from TV tuner (A2/10).
3 Unlock connector lock (31) and pull out carrier (32).
4 Remove fuse (30) from carrier (32), unlock locks and remove damaged fiber optical cable module (19).
5 Cut off damaged fiber optical cable module (19) and strap down with insulation tape.










6 Install the new fiber optical cable module (19) in contact cavity 2 (output) of the connector for the TV tuner (A2/10).
7 Complete connector (31) again and connect to TV tuner (A2/10).
8 Route the new fiber optical cable module (19) along existing lines in the left of the luggage compartment to the rear compartment and fasten in place as per the guidelines.







9 Swivel navigation processor (N41/1) with bracket back again and fasten with screw (35).







10 Expose the fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50) with the two fiber optical cable modules 19 and 20 in the left rear cable duct and unclip cover (36).
11 Remove the damaged fiber optical cable module 19 from the fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50), separate and strap down using insulation tape.










12 Install the new fiber optical cable module 19 in fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50) and clip cover (36) back on again.
13 Stow fiber optical cable connector (MOST) (X39/50) and the MOST fiber optical cable in the cable duct as per the guidelines.

Risk of breakage: Do not kink fiber optical cable, route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm. Tensile forces on inserts must not exceed 65 N. Do not squeeze fiber optical cable and do not compress with clamps or tie straps.
