GF91.30-P-2005T Ventilation Mode Function

GF91.30-P-2005T Ventilation Mode Function
- with CODE (401) Front luxury seat, including heated seat and seat ventilation

Function requirements
^ Circuit 15R ON
^ Circuit 15 ON

Function driver side
The actuation of the left front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s13) is read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and forwarded via CAN interior to the HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7).

The HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7) issues a control voltage, depending on the current power stage, to the blower regulator for left front seat ventilation (N29/5). It controls, depending on the control voltage, the supply voltage of the left front seat cushion ventilation motor group (M18/9) and the left front backrest ventilation motor group (M18/10).

Function passenger side
The actuation of the right front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s14) is read in by the upper control panel control unit (N72/1) and forwarded via CAN interior to the HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7).

The HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7) issues a control voltage, depending on the current power stage, to the blower regulator for right front seat ventilation (N29/6). It controls, depending on the control voltage, the supply voltage of the right front seat cushion ventilation motor group (M18/11) and the right front backrest ventilation motor group (M18/12).

Operation and function indicators of the seat ventilation are summarized in the table given below.

Switch over with switch (explanation at driver-side seat ventilation)
By pressing the left front seat ventilation switch (N72/1s13), it is possible to manually switch
- over from ventilation stage 3 to ventilation stage 2.
- over from ventilation stage 2 to ventilation stage 1.
- off the seat ventilation.

The HS and seat ventilation control unit (N25/7) reduces the control voltage to the left front seat ventilation blower regulator (N29/5) accordingly, and thus it reduces the supply voltage of the left front seat cushion ventilation motor group (M18/9) and the left front backrest ventilation motor group (M18/10).

Operation and function indicators of the seat ventilation are summarized in the table given below.

Switching on seat ventilation in the case of comfort opening
When opening the windows and sliding roof with the remote control (comfort opening) or by Keyless Go, the seat ventilation is switched on to ventilation stage 3 irrespective of the function conditions.

When closing, the seat ventilation is switched off again.
