AN82.61-P-0001-06TAZ Retrofit MOST Fiber Optic Cable Wiring Harness
Danger of breaking: Do not kink fiber optic cable and do not route over sharp edges or bend in radii smaller than 25 mm. Tensile forces on inserts must not exceed 65 N. Do not squeeze fiber optic cable and do not compress with clamps or cable ties.
1 Press locking tab (arrow) of the MOST wiring harness ordered outward slightly and pull the black, 2-pin MOST connector (14) out of the MOST connector housing (11).
2 Unclip blue retaining clip (15) out of the black, 2-pin MOST connector (14).
It must be ensured that the fiber optic cable module (8) in chamber 1 (input) is installed (see arrow). If this is not the case, install fiber optic cable module (8) from chamber 2 in chamber 1.
3 Remove MOST coupling of MOST fiber optic cable wiring harness (7) from black, 6-pin coupling housing (8) of auto pilot system wiring harness (1).
4 Unclip blue retaining clip (15) from black, 2-pin MOST connector (13).
5 Release locking tab and remove fiber optic cable module (7) from chamber 2 (output) of black, 2-pin MOST connector (13) and install in chamber 2 (output) of black, 2-pin MOST connector (14).
MOST connector (14) is from MOST wiring harness ordered
6 Install blue retaining clip (15) into the black, 2-pin MOST connector (14).
7 Clip black, 2-pin MOST connector (14) into MOST coupling housing (11).
MOST coupling (11) is connected later to the CD changer.
8 Wrap felt tape around on-board MOST connector for the CD changer and strap down in center console (no longer required).
