Component Identification:

The following functions can be performed via the transmit buttons on the transmitter key (A8/1):
^ Global unlock (entire vehicle)
^ Selective unlock (driver's door, fuel filler flap)
^ Global lock (entire vehicle)
^ Remote trunk release (only on locked vehicle, only on model 211.0).

Reception of the "Unlock" signal is indicated by the turn signal lamps flashing once; "Lock" by flashing three times

The acknowledgment is output via the left turn signal lamp (E1e5), right turn signal lamp (E2e5), left outer turn signal lamp (E3e1), right outer turn signal lamp (E4e1) and left outside mirror turn signal lamp (E6/5) and right (E6/6).

Remote trunk opening on model 211.0
When the trunk lid is opened with the "Remote trunk opening" (3), the central locking remains inactive (no unlocking). The interior central locking and the ATA function display switch (N72/1s6) are not released, the vehicle is not unlocked. The trunk is locked after closing.
