Store driver seat position function
The memory button 1, 2, 3 switch (S91/2s14) and memory switch (S91/2s9) can be used to store the seat position set for the driver-side seat. The key-specific seat position storage (up to 30.5.05) can be activated or deactivated in the instrument cluster (A1). 3 seat positions can be stored for each transmitter key.
There are two ways of saving positions:
1. Press and hold the relevant memory switch (S91/2s9) and then press the position key on the memory switch 1, 2, 3 (S91/2s14).
2. First of all press the memory switch (S91/2s9) and then release it. Then press the corresponding position key on the memory switch 1, 2, 3 (S91/2s14) within t < 3 s.
The current position is stored in the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1).
Save front passenger seat position function (with code (242) Electrically adjustable front passenger seat with memory)
The front passenger seat positions are stored using the memory button 1, 2, 3 switch (S92/2s14) and the memory switch (S92/2s9). A total of 3 seat positions can be stored for the front passenger seat.
There are two ways of saving positions:
1. Press and hold the relevant memory switch (S92/2s9) and then press the position key on the memory switch 1, 2, 3 (S92/2s14).
2. First of all press the memory switch (S92/2s9) and then release it. Then press the corresponding position key on the memory switch 1, 2, 3 (S92/2s14) within t < 3 s.
The current position is stored in the passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2).
For vehicles as of 1.6.07 acoustic feedback is issued via the warning buzzer integrated into the instrument cluster (A1) when the seat position is stored.
When the vehicle is parked, the last setting of the driver seat, outside mirrors and the steering column are stored in a volatile memory.
