R42 Extinguishing agent reservoir squib 1
R42/1 Extinguishing agent tank squib 2

^ Squibs (R42, R42/1) are pyrotechnical objects for the subclass T1 technical applications and must be kept locked and out of reach of children.
^ Always store squibs (R42, R42/1) in closed original package and remove just before assembly. Observe notes printed in original package concerning protective equipment, assembly as well as disposal, otherwise correct function of the squibs (R42, R42/1) and work safety is not ensured.
^ Keep squibs (R42, R42/1) away from moisture, temperatures above 90° C, friction, electrostatic discharge or radio waves.
^ Do not machine squibs (R42, R42/1), allow them to fall or be subject to concussions.
^ When testing squibs (R42, R42/1) ensure that they are mounted properly on the extinguishing agent tanks.
^ Do not test squibs (R42, R42/1) with measuring instruments or test lamps, because they can be triggered by a measuring current of greater than or equal to 0.013 A. Testing is only to be performed using the fire extinguishing system warning buzzer, i.e. via the fire extinguishing system control unit (model 463) or the self-test of the fire extinguishing system (model 220, 221).
