When removing the remaining glue, films, trim strips, etc. using rubber disks, the following points must be remembered:
^ Please use safety glasses and hearing protection
^ Use of surface conditioning disk with hand drill
^ Use a speed of 2000 to 2500 rpm to avoid smearing
^ Only apply slight pressure on the repair surface with surface conditioning disk and do not work on one spot for too long. Otherwise excessive heat development may damage the sheet metal or the paint
^ Rotational direction of surface conditioning disk opposite to working direction
^ During the application on water-based coatings, perform preliminary tests on spots that are not visible. Discoloration of the paint may occur in isolated cases
^ Do not use surface conditioning disks on plastics or painted plastic parts such as bumpers
