The rotary movement of the rear rotary pushbutton is picked up in two different spacing resolutions:
- 12 steps per revolution
- 32 steps per revolution
The low-resolution spacing (12 steps per revolution) is used for selecting menus.
The high-resolution spacing (32 steps per revolution) is used for selecting and moving within selection lists.
The rotary movement for selecting within a list is limited at the end of the list by a variable end stop, i.e. when the bottom of a selection list is reached, the rear rotary pushbutton can no longer be turned and vice versa.
