Reason for change

Complaint:
When driving on rough roads with open stowage compartment/ashtray (center console) clattering noise may be heard.

Cause:

Insufficient contact pressure of journals.

Remedy:
With reference to picture 1 (in .pdf attachment): In a complaint instance, remove the lid and stick on felt (as shown in attachment).

With reference to picture 2 (in .pdf attachment): Stick felt to rear journal; if necessary the pretension on the lid can be increased by modifying the journal (as shown in the attachment).
