Noise from Panoramic Roof

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of noise from the panoramic roof area, this may be caused by loose or missing bolts.

Follow the procedure below to resolve.

1. Remove headliner. Refer to WIS document AR68.30-P-4300SX





2. Check for loose or missing bolts at body cross bracing (Figure 1, 1). For up to VIN A035000, replace any missing bolts with N000000 001475 and tighten all 9 bolts to 7Nm +/- 1Nm.

3. Check for loose or missing bolts at panoramic roof frame (Figure 1, 2). For up to VIN A039000, replace any missing bolts with A008 990 46 04 and tighten all 8 bolts 5Nm +/- 1N.
