Complaint:

If the lumber support bladder is very full, there may be a cracking noise from the lower area of the backrest when sitting down or adjusting the bracket.

Only valid as of VIN ...A285851 up to VIN ...A286075.

Cause:

Clip of felt support of multicontour insert is touching the backrest shaft (See PIC 1)





Attachments

Remedy:

1. Remove seat-back lining and loosen cover at side and bottom.

2. Press padding towards front at bottom on door side or tunnel side.

3. Remove clip.

4. Also remove felt tab using a suitable tool (See PIC 2).

Assemble in reverse order.
