Component Identification:

Location
The side marker lamps are located in the side of the front bumper.

The left side marker lamp (United States of America) (E3e6) is integrated into the left taillamp (E3) and the right side marker lamp (United States of America) (E4e6) is integrated into the right taillamp (E4).

Task
The side-marker lamps serve the vehicle illumination when the standing light actuation is active.

The left front side marker lamp is actuated by the driver-side SAM control unit (N10/10) and the right front side marker lamp by the front passenger-side SAM control unit (N10/11).
