Component Identification:

Location
The left rear power window motor is located below the left rear side paneling and the right rear power window motor is located below the right rear side paneling.

Design
The left rear power window motor and right rear power window motor are DC motors which turn left and right depending on the polarity of the armature voltage.

Both power window motors are protected against overheating by a thermal protection switch.
They are equipped with two Hall sensors each for position recognition.

The power window motors are actuated and the Hall sensor signals are evaluated by the RVC control unit (N52).
