Washer nozzle/washer nozzle hose heater, general
The washer nozzle heater and washer nozzle hose heater prevent the washer fluid from freezing in the washer nozzles and in the washer nozzle hose

Function sequence for washer nozzle/washer nozzle hose heater
The driver SAM control unit (N10/10) detects the outside temperature via the outside temperature indicator temperature sensor (B14) and transmits this signal to the front passenger SAM control unit (N10/11) via the interior CAN.

At an outside temperature of T < 5 °C, the washer nozzle heater (R2/1) and washer nozzle hose heater (R2/11) are switched on by the front passenger SAM control unit.
If the outside temperature increases to T > 8 °C, the washer nozzle heater and the washer nozzle hose heater are switched off by the front passenger SAM control unit.
