Component Identification:

Location
The cradle is located in the telephone compartment in the center console under the armrest.

Depending on the equipment installed one of the following control units will be installed, hereafter referred to as the "audio unit":
- Radio (A2), with code (523) MB Audio 20 radio or with code (510) Audio 20 with CD changer
- Radio and navigation unit (A2/56), with code (525) MB Audio 50 APS radio or with code (511) Audio 50 APS with DVD changer
- COMAND operating, display and controller unit (A40/3), with code (527) COMAND APS with single DVD drive (with navigation) or with code (512) COMAND APS with DVD changer

Connecting different mobile phones
The cradle can be used to connect different mobile phones to the mobile phone system.

Receiving signals
- Receiving the circuit 30g and circuit 31 power supply via the contact pins of the Bluetooth module (A34/7)
- Receiving the switch-on or off signal via the contact pin of the Bluetooth module
- Receiving the mobile phone signals or data via the contact pins of the Bluetooth module

Transmitting signals
- Transmitting the mobile phone signals or data from the mobile phone to the Bluetooth module via the contact pins
- Transmitting the control signals from the mobile phone to the Bluetooth module
