Component Identification:

Location
The sun sensor is located in the center of the center nozzle beneath the windshield.

Task
The sun sensor is designed as a dual sun sensor and records the intensity and angle of incidence of the solar radiation onto the vehicle. The interior temperature and blower output are adapted according to the intensity.

The sun sensor is read in directly by the comfort AAC [KLA] control and operating unit (N22/7).
