Location
The headlamp range adjustment front axle sensor is mounted at the left front to the floor assembly and connected by way of a link rod to the front axle's stabilizer bar.
The headlamp range adjustment rear axle sensor is mounted at the left rear to the floor assembly and connected by way of a link rod to the left transverse control arm.
Tasks
The headlamp range adjustment sensors generate voltage signals which change in proportion to the vehicle level.
These are used to control the automatic headlamp range adjustment. The signals for the headlamp range adjustment sensors are read in and evaluated by the headlamp range adjustment control unit (N71).
