The steering column in/out motor and steering column up/down motor is located on the steering column.

Task
The steering column motors permit a longitudinal and height adjustment of the steering column by the drive of the spindle and shaft (3). To record the position they are equipped with integrated Hall sensors. Actuation and position detection is performed by the driver-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/1).
