Workshop level settings function sequence
The workshop level is used by the technician in the workshop for reading out vehicle and service data and provides assistance with carrying out the service.
The workshop level of the instrument cluster (A1) is accessed by pressing the trip odometer reset button (A1s3) three times with circuit 15R ON.
The display in the upper multifunction display (A1p13) and lower multifunction display (A1p15) switches to the workshop level.

Via the left multifunction steering wheel button group (S110) it is possible to scroll between the respective menus and submenus or in various lists.

The following menus are accessible:
^ Vehicle data
^ Dynamometer test mode
^ ASSYST Plus workshop

Vehicle data
The following data can be called up in this menu:
- Voltage (in V) in on-board electrical system
- Data from instrument cluster (version numbers, software releases etc.)
- Engine data (engine number etc.)
- Oil data (oil quantity, temperature) (with engine 113.9)
- Vehicle data (chassis number etc.)

Roller test mode
Activating the roller dynamometer mode prevents faults being entered in the ESP and BAS control unit (N47-5) during brake tests on the roller dynamometer.
It is possible to switch between the following settings in the roller dynamometer mode submenu using the left multifunction steering wheel button group
- On
- With circuit 15 OFF

If the workshop menu is exited and the roller dynamometer mode was not first deactivated, the roller dynamometer mode menu is called up automatically during the next ignition sequence (with circuit 15R On).

ASSYST Plus workshop
The following data can be called up in this menu:
- Service data
- Full service

After a service is performed, the service interval is reset in this menu.
