AZ82.70-P-0001-04CWX Retrofit Wiring Harness.

Component Identification:

1 Detach wiring harness from connector.
2 Detach coupling (3) from connector.
3 Note color code of coupling in contact cavities.

The connection in the center console is made again after this has been performed.







Shown on center console with armrest removed
4 Drill a hole with 10 mm diameter into floor of center console (refer to arrow in picture).
5 Route detached line leads of wiring harness (1) through drilled hole.
6 Insert line leads back into coupling (3) of wiring harness.

The wiring harness (1) plug (2) is fitted to the iPhone cradle later on.







7 Insert white and black plugs onto wiring harness.

Check that the contact pins are correctly coded and fitted correctly in the plug contact cavities.

8 Connect white and black connectors to wiring harness again.
9 Route wiring harness (1) to vehicle's own wiring harness and under the center console to the instrument panel, then fasten in place.
10 Route wiring harness (1) under the glove box to the interface control unit.
11 Remove existing iPod wiring harness from the control unit, and connect the control unit to the iPhone wiring harness.

Do not damage the wiring harness by squeezing or pinching it.
