Special Tools:

Component Identification:

1 Detach circlip (1) from countershaft.
2 Press off constant-mesh gear (2).
3 Press off fixed gear of 6th. gear (3).
4 Clamp the countershaft in a vise with jaw protectors.
Drive side must face downwards.
5 Remove idler gear of 3rd gear (4) and needle bearing of 3rd gear (5).

Component Identification:

6 Remove clutch body (6) and friction ring (7).
7 Remove cone ring (8) and synchronizer ring (9).
8 Remove circlip (12) using suitable pliers.

Component Identification:

9 Use puller and jaw to remove the idler gear of 4th. gear (21) together with synchronizer unit of 3rd./4th. gear (30) (arrows).
10 Remove synchronizer unit of 3rd./4th. gear (30).
11 Remove synchronizer ring (17), cone ring (18) and friction ring (19).

Component Identification:

12 Remove clutch body (20) and idler gear of 4th. gear (21).
13 Remove 4th gear needle bearing (22).
14 Release the countershaft from vise.
