1 Partially remove sound deadening mat on paneling (14) according to the picture.
2 Glue velcro strip (16) according to the picture onto the iPod interface (2).
3 Glue the iPod interface (2) onto paneling (14).

Glue iPod interface (2) such that the interface coupling (5) of the iPod wiring harness can later be installed in the cutout between the air deflector ducts (see magnified view). The bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and free of grease.

4 Connect the interface coupling (5) of the iPod wiring harness, route the cable according to the picture and affix to the paneling with felt.
5 Connect the iPod interface wiring harness connector (19) of the iPod wiring harness (see magnified view) to the iPod interface (2).
