Component Identification:

1 Unscrew self-locking nut of spring control arm (17) at steering knuckle (5).

Installation: Replace self-locking nut.

2 Screw the thrust washer (044a) onto the carrying joint.
3 Apply the puller (035).
4 Use the press (064) to press the spring control arm (17) out of the steering knuckle (5) by turning the press spindle.

Do not damage the rubber boot on the supporting joint when pressing out.
