Function
If the rear seat backrest is unlocked on the passenger side, the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) transmits a signal over the CAN interior to the passenger-side front seat adjustment control unit with memory (N32/2).

The seat fore/aft adjustment of the front passenger seat moves to the 95 % position (150 mm behind the front-most stop).

If the seat fore/aft adjustment is in front of this position, only a rearward adjustment up to this position is possible.

If the rear seat backrest is locked again, the seat remains in its current position.

It is not automatically moved back to the initial position.

A seat fore/aft adjustment is possible again over the entire range of adjustment.

The collision with rear seat avoidance function is only possible for the front passenger seat.
