Location
The telescopic nozzles are located under the left front lamp unit (E1) and right front lamp unit (E2) concealed by flaps behind the bumper.

Design
The telescopic nozzle is a hydraulically extending telescopic element with integrated return springs. It does not have any electrical connection.

Function
Driven by the water pressure, the telescopic nozzles first extend like a telescope into the cleaning position. In doing so, the flaps in the bumper are opened. Following this another increase in pressure causes a valve to open at each telescopic nozzle and washer fluid is sprayed out. Following a pressure drop, the telescopic nozzles are retracted by spring force into their starting positions and the flaps in the bumper are closed by the spring loads.
