1 Screw on insertion tool (04) up to end stop on rear axle shaft (1).





2 Slide rear axle shaft flange (2) onto rear axle bearing.





3 Position the extraction and insertion tool 01) on the rear axle shaft flange (2), in the process screwing the spindle (03) onto the insertion tool (04).
4 Insert rear axle shaft flange (2) into angular contact ball bearing (3) until the rear axle shaft flange (2) makes contact with the rear axle shaft (1). To do so, turn nut (02) and counterhold spindle (03).
5 Unfasten nut (02) and turn the rear axle shaft flange (2) up against the rear axle shaft (1) until the gearing on the rear axle shaft (1) engages.
The gearings on the rear axle shaft flange (2) and the rear axle shaft (1) must mesh with each other. Otherwise the rear axle shaft flange (2) and the rear axle shaft (1) will be damaged when inserted.
6 Insert rear axle shaft flange (2) up to end stop in the bearing.
