The level of the shift pressure (p-S) is determined by the shift pressure control solenoid valve (Y3/6y2) and the shift pressure regulating valve (24). In addition at the shift pressure regulating valve (24) pressure from the multidisk clutch is applied to the annular surface (24a)K2. This reduces the shift pressure (p-S) in 2nd gear.
