Route comfort telephony wiring harness (1) along vehicle wiring harness under center console and fix in place using cable ties.
The couplings wrapped in foam material must be located in the rear section of the center console.
The brown length comparison marking (arrow A) must be located, as shown, on the cable duct (19).
Fix blue line (bl) along vehicle wiring harness in slot of removed audio component and fix in place using cable ties.
Release lock (18.1) at black 44-pin coupling (18) and insert blue line (bl) in slot "13" at black 34-pin coupling (18).
Lock lock (18.1) at black 44-pin coupling (18).
Lift up floor covering (20) and remove foam material located underneath air duct (21).
Route comfort telephony wiring harness (1) starting on brown length comparison marking (arrow A) along broken line under air duct (21) in direction of cable duct (22).
Install foam material (23) under air duct (21).
Install brown line (br) of comfort telephony wiring harness (1) on left front seat crossmember ground point (W18).
Form loops with excess length of brown line (br) next to left front seat crossmember ground point (W18) and fix in place on comfort telephony wiring harness (1) using a cable tie.
Route comfort telephony wiring harness (1) through cable duct (22) to left rear footwell using a pull-through device.
Fold back and straighten floor covering (20).
Lead comfort telephony wiring harness out of cable duct (22).
Route antenna line (1.1) of comfort telephony wiring harness along vehicle wiring harness on C-pillar and fix in place using cable ties.
Route red/green line (rt/gn) along vehicle wiring harness into trunk and fix in place using cable tie.
The red/green line (rt/gn) will be routed at a later point in time to the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module.
Unclip and remove cover (24)
Remove rear dome lamp (E15/3).
Do not disconnect electric wiring harness.
Route antenna line (1.1) behind headliner (25) to cutout of rear dome lamp (E15/3) using a pull-through device.
Ensure that the antenna line (1.1) is routed such that it will not compromise the window bag (26) function. If this is not observed, this can lead to window bag (26) malfunction.
Route antenna line (1.1) from cutout of rear dome lamp (E15/3) to multifunction antenna (A28/11).
Connect black 1-pin coupling (16) of antenna line (1.1) to multifunction antenna (A28/11).
Fix antenna line (1.1) in place on body using felt tape.
Install rear dome lamp (E15/3).
Install cover (24).
Route red/green line (rt/gn) along vehicle wiring harness, as shown, to front SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fix in place using cable ties and felt tape (13).
Remove green 7-pin fuse carrier (9) from SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
Only if the green 7-pin fuse carrier (9) is installed.
Unlock locks (9.1 and 9.2) of on-board green 7-pin fuse carrier (9) or green 7- pin fuse carrier (9) included in package contents.
Install red/green line (rt/gn) in slot "1" of green 7-pin fuse carrier (9).
Insert 5 amp fuse into slot "1" of green 7-pin fuse carrier.
Lock locks (9.1 and 9.2) of green 7-pin fuse carrier (9).
Install green 7-pin fuse carrier (9) in SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
