Model 218

Check components removed from standard bumper before assembly and replace if damaged.
Pay attention to paint damage.





1 Insert paneling lower section (2) into rear paneling (1) and arrest.
The lower section of the paneling (2) should arrest correctly in the rear paneling (1).





2 Insert trim (3) into paneling lower section (2) and arrest.
The trim (3) should arrest properly in the paneling lower section (2).





3 Install paneling lower section (2) on right and left in rear paneling (1) with one blind rivet (4) each.





4 Insert bracket on paneling lower section (5) into rear paneling (1) and paneling bottom section (2) and arrest.
The bracket on the paneling lower section (5) should arrest properly in the rear paneling (1) and paneling bottom section (2).





5 Install paneling lower section (2) and trim (3) in rear paneling (1) with 4 expansion rivets (6).





6 Install trim (3) on paneling bottom section (2) with 6 expansion rivets (7).





7 Insert mounting plate with bolt (8) into center basic carrier (10).
8 Insert center basic carrier (10) into rear paneling (1) and arrest.
The center basic carrier (10) should arrest properly in the rear paneling (1).
9 Install sealing washers (9) on bolts of mounting plate with bolt (8).





10 Insert reinforcements (11) on right and left into rear paneling (1) with two blind rivets (4) each.
11 Install one insert clip nut (12) each on reinforcements (11).





12 Insert rear fog lamp (13) into rear paneling (1) and install with two St 5 x16 hexalobular bolts (14).





13 Insert short range radar sensor unit (20) into rear paneling (1) and arrest.
The short range radar sensor unit (20) should arrest properly in the rear paneling (1).

14 Insert left outer rear parking system distance sensor (B8/10), rear left inner parking system distance sensor (B8/9), rear right inner parking system distance sensor (B8/8) and rear right outer parking system distance sensor (B8/7) removed from standard bumper into brackets on rear paneling (1).
Before inserting sensors, check decoupling rings, replace if damaged.
15 Inert wiring harness (15) removed from standard bumper into rear paneling (1) and fix in place in mounts present.
16 Connect wiring harness (15).





17 Insert AGA chrome molding bracket (16) on right and left into rear paneling (1) and install with 3 blind rivets each (4).
18 Instal AGA chrome molding bracket (16) on right and left on bracket on paneling bottom section (5) with one disk spring (17) each.





19 Install AGA chrome molding bracket (18) on right and left on AGA chrome molding bracket (16) with three St 6 25 hexalobular bolts (19) each.
Align AGA chrome molding bracket (18) so that it is seated in the center of the paneling bottom section (2) (distance equal on all sides), if necessary, rework after installing rear paneling
20 Hook check strap on towing eye cover into rear paneling (1) and insert towing eye cover.
The towing eye cover should be arrested correctly in rear paneling (1).
