Reason for change

Complaint

1.) The next/previous track function is no longer possible via the central control (A40/9), via the steering wheel buttons or via Seek Taste on the COMAND unit (A40/3). This complaint occasionally occurs in iPod mode after directly selecting a track from the track list.

2.) When the COMAND unit (A40/3) is off, the picture from the reversing camera is occasionally not displayed.

Note:
Only affects vehicles with COMAND software release 10/20.

Cause
Software release of COMAND unit (A40/3).

Remedy
Update the software of the COMAND unit (A40/3) to at least software release 10/29 or higher.

Note:
The COMAND software 10/29 is available as of Telematics CD 11/2010.
