1 Release and remove lock (7.1) of black carrier element at vehicle/cellular telephone system splitter antenna line (7).
2 Release vehicle/cellular telephone system splitter antenna line (7) at black carrier element (arrow A) and remove black carrier element.
3 Remove violet carrier element from parts kit, insert vehicle/cellular telephone system splitter antenna line (7) into violet carrier element and install lock (7.1).






4 Release and remove lock (9.1) of black carrier element at cellular telephone system splitter/vehicle antenna line (9).
5 Release cellular telephone system splitter/vehicle antenna line (9) at black carrier element (arrow B) and remove black carrier element.
6 Remove violet carrier element from parts kit, insert cellular telephone system splitter/vehicle antenna line (9) into violet carrier element and install lock (9.1).






7 Expose mobile phone electrical connector (X39/37) below center console (10).
8 Push back foam sheath (11) until inside out and disconnect mobile phone electrical connector (X39/37).






9 Lift center console (10) and support with an assembly wedge (12) as shown.
10 Feed through pull-through device (13) below rear floor covering (14) centrally along propeller shaft tunnel to center console (10).
11 Fasten cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8) to pull-through device (13) and pull through cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8) below rear floor covering (14) to center console (10).
12 Detach cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8) from pull-through device (13).






13 Completely wrap cellular telephone system splitter (2) with felt tape, as shown.
14 Insert black coupling of cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8) on connector (arrow C) at cellular telephone system splitter (2).






15 Position cellular telephone system splitter (2) below center console (10), lift center console (10) and remove assembly wedge.
Ensure that the cellular telephone system splitter (2) and the electrical lines routed in the center console (10) are not damaged when the center console (10) is fastened at a later point.

16 Connect violet coupling of vehicle/cellular telephone system splitter antenna line (7) and violet connector (15) of mobile phone electrical connector to one another.
17 Connect violet connector of cellular telephone system splitter/ vehicle antenna line (9) and violet coupling (16) of mobile phone electrical connector to one another and push back foam sheath (11) until it is right-side out.
18 Stow all created connectors in the center console (10).






19 Route cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8), as shown, to left rear seat backrest and fix in place at body using strips of felt tape.
20 Release left rear seat backrest and fix in place folded forward at an angle of approx. 45°.
21 Route cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8) below left rear seat backrest into cargo area and fix in place at body in area of hinge of rear seat backrest using strips of felt tape.






22 Route cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8), as shown, behind C-pillar reinforcement to installation location of InCar Hotspot control unit (1) and fix in place at existing lines using cable ties.
23 Position bracket (17) and fasten with nuts (18) included in package contents.
24 Position InCar Hotspot control unit (1) at bracket (17) and fasten with screws/bolts (19) included in package contents. \
25 Insert violet coupling of cellular telephone system splitter/InCar Hotspot control unit antenna line (8) on connector (arrow D) at InCar Hotspot control unit (1).






26 Connect white 4-pin coupling (3) at InCar Hotspot control unit (1).
27 Route power supply wiring harness (6), as shown, along existing lines and fix in place at these using cable ties.
28 Release right rear seat backrest and fix in place folded forward at an angle of approx. 45°.
29 Route power supply wiring harness (6), as shown, along existing lines to rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2), fix in place here using cable ties and then fix in place at body using strips of felt tape.






30 Install red line (rt) in contact cavity 1 of black 2-pin coupling (4) included in package contents.
The individual contact cavities are numbered on the housing of the black 2-pin coupling (4).

31 Insert black 2-pin coupling (4) in slot (arrow E) at rear of rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) and fix red line (rt) in place at existing lines using cable ties.
The slot of the black 2-pin coupling (4) is marked at the rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2) with the designation "10R".






32.1 Release and remove blue fuse carrier (5) at rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
On vehicles with existing blue fuse carrier (5).

32.2 Remove blue fuse carrier (5) from parts kit.
On vehicles without blue fuse carrier (5).

33 Install black line (sw) in slot for electrical fuse 55 (arrow F) in blue fuse carrier (5).






34 Insert and lock blue fuse carrier (5) in slot "13A" at rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
35 Insert electrical fuse 55 (N10/2f55) in blue fuse carrier (5) and electrical fuse 91 (N10/2f91) in rear SAM control unit with fuse and relay module (N10/2).
The electrical fuse 55 (N10/2f55) and the electrical fuse 91 (N10/2f91) must each have a fuse rating of 7.5 A.






36 Route brown line (br), as shown, along existing lines to right trunk wheel arch ground point (W7/8) and fix in place with cable ties.
The right trunk wheel arch ground point (W7/8) can be assigned a maximum of five lines. If this is the case, the brown line (br) must be connected at the right trunk wheel arch ground point (W7).

37 Connect brown line (br) to the ground point of the right wheel arch (trunk) (W7/8).
38 Strap down excess length of brown line (br) and fix in place at existing lines using a cable tie.
