Special Tools:

Component Identification:

1 Pull 1st gear idler gear (11), reverse tear idler gear (7), synchronizer ring (4) and clutch body (3) off main shaft (27) using puller and jaws.

Component Identification:

2 Remove 1st gear idler gear (11), thrust plate (10), sleeve (9), needle bearing (8), reverse gear idler gear (7), synchronizer ring (4) and clutch body (3) from main shaft (27).
3 Remove needle bearing (12) from main shaft (27).

Component Identification:

4 Remove friction ring (13), cone ring (14) and synchronizer ring (15).

Component Identification:

5 Remove 2nd gear idler gear (25), friction ring (24), cone ring (23), synchronizer ring (22), 1st/2nd gear synchronizer unit (51) and sleeve (16) from main shaft (27) using puller and jaws (27).

Component Identification:

6 Remove needle bearing (26) from main shaft (27).
7 Pry washer (26.1) off main shaft (27) and remove center support bearing (26.2).

Component Identification:

8 Insert main shaft (27) on clutch body (30) in workshop press.
9 Use pliers to remove circlip (39).
10 Press 5th/6th gear synchronizer unit (52) with synchronizer ring (31) and clutch body (30) off main shaft (27) and remove.
11 Mark installation position on sliding sleeve and synchronizer body of 5th/6th gear synchronizer unit (52).
12 Remove 6th gear idler gear (29), needle bearing (28) and oil disk (28a)
13 Remove main shaft (27) from workshop press.
