Component Identification:

1 Release and remove contact carrier (5.1) from housing of black 18-pin coupling (5) (arrow A).
2 Open stowage compartment of center console (9) and route iPhone cradle wiring harness (4) with contact carrier (5.1) in advance through the opening (arrow B) in the stowage compartment of the center console (9) and outwards.







3 Clip mount with Bluetooth module (A34/7) into stowage compartment.
4 Remove cover (10) of Bluetooth module (A34/7) and insert iPhone cradle (1) into Bluetooth module (A34/7).
5 Join black connector (2) and black coupling (3) and stow under mount with Bluetooth module (A34/7).







6 Turn over center console (9) and route iPhone cradle wiring harness (4), as shown, on underside of center console (9).
7 Fix iPhone cradle wiring harness (4) in place using felt tape (11) on underside of center console (9).







8 Open glove box lid.
9 Make mark on the inner side of the glove box (12), as shown, and drill a hole with a diameter of 8 mm.

When drilling, make sure that the concealed components are not damaged.

Dimensions:
A = 25 mm
B = 25 mm







10 Connect iPhone wiring harness (7) to media interface electrical connector (X18/70).
11 Route iPhone wiring harness (7) through hole in glove box (12) and outwards.
12 Close glove box lid.







13 Pin iPhone wiring harness (7) into black 18-pin plug (6) and fit lock (6.1).

14 Route iPhone wiring harness (7), as shown, behind the instrument panel.
15 Position center console (9) on installation location.

Pay attention to installation position of plugs and couplings at center console (9) so that electrical connections can be made later.

16 Create electrical connection between black 18-pin coupling (5) on iPhone cradle wiring harness (4) and black 18-pin plug (6) on iPhone wiring harness (7).
17 Wrap felt tape around connection and stow under the AAC control and operating unit.
