The driver information of the tire pressure loss warning (RDW) system is shown on the multifunction display (A1p13) of the instrument cluster (A1).

A distinction is made between the following:
- Menu displays
- warning messages

The menu displays can be called up in the instrument cluster via the tire pressure loss warning menu.
The warning messages appear automatically.

The tire pressure loss warning system is only available as of circuit 15.

Operation feedback after manual restart.





Menu display 3

The tire pressure loss warning (RDW) system is inoperative. Possible causes are:
- Sensor fault in ESP control unit (N47-5)
- Undefined signal or no signal via chassis CAN





Warning message 1

Warning from tire pressure loss warning (RDW) system without position data. If there is a significant pressure loss, the warning message appears after the vehicle has been driven for a few minutes.





Warning message 2

Reminder message in the event of an ignition restart following tire pressure loss warning (RDW) system.

The message is repeated each time the ignition is switched on, provided that the tire pressure loss warning (RDW) system has not been restarted.





Warning message 3

The tire pressure loss warning (RDW) system is inoperative.

Possible causes are:
- Sensor fault in ESP control unit
- Undefined signal or no signal via chassis CAN
