The electrohydraulic power steering is located under the right headlamp behind the front bumper.

Task
The electrohydraulic power steering tasks are divided up into the following partial functions:

Regulation of the power steering pump
The power steering pump is regulated by the electrohydraulic power steering (A91/1) depending on requirements (vehicle at standstill, vehicle speed) to match a specified characteristic.

- Central gateway control unit (N93), diagnostic communication

Central CAN (CAN F) signals
- Instrument cluster (A1), over chassis CAN and central gateway control unit, transmission of instantaneous vehicle speed from instrument cluster and transmission of signals for instrument cluster messages to the instrument cluster
