AR33.20-P-0310-24H Detach/attach front wheel hub

Special Tools:

Detaching

Component Identification:

1 Secure hub puller (01) to front wheel hub (9) using 5 bolts.
2 Screw spindle (01a) into hub puller (01).
3 Remove hub puller (01) with front wheel hub (9).
4 Detach hub puller (01) from front wheel hub (9).

Attaching

Component Identification:

5 Screw guide spindle (02a) of hub fitting tool into tap holder (02c) until it make contact with knurl (02b).
6 Push three-piece axial grooved ball bearing (02d), spacer sleeve (02e) and front wheel hub (9) onto guide spindle (02a) of hub fitting tool.

Component Identification:

7 Screw guide spindle onto thread of steering knuckle spindle (5a) by turning knurl (02b).

When doing so, guide the front wheel hub (9) coaxially to the steering knuckle spindle (5a) in order to prevent the front wheel hub (9) from canting on the steering knuckle spindle (5a).

Component Identification:

8 Attach front wheel hub (9) to steering knuckle spindle (5a) by turning tap holder (02c).
9 Turn tap holder (02c) back by 1/2 turn, unscrew guide spindle (02a) from thread of steering knuckle spindle (5a) by turning knurl (02b) and remove hub fitting tool (01).
