Steering Gear: Description and Operation

Power Steering Gear:

The power steering gear is a typical rack and pinion design consisting of steering gear, pump, oil reserve, pressure hose, return hose, front wheel spindle tie rod and tie rod end.

NOTE: The power steering gear is only serviceable as an assembly. The tie-rods and dust boots may be replaced. If any other components require service, replace as an assembly.
