ISSUE:
There may be an extended crank time in the morning and/or intermittent stalling in high ambient temperatures (38°C/100°F). In addition, a no start may occur when the engine is still hot and the vehicle has been parked for a short period. This may be caused by the fuel pump check valve and gerotor.

ACTION:
Perform normal diagnostics and replace the fuel pump. The revised fuel pump has been improved to reduce the possibility of the above concerns. Refer to the appropriate year Villager Service Manual, Section 10-01, for removal and replacement procedures.
