Replacement Vehicle Information and Warning Labels

Ford Parts and Service Division is pleased to announce a new and easy method for dealerships to obtain replacement information/ warning labels for all Ford and Lincoln-Mercury vehicles and heavy trucks.

This label program is the result of a request by the Parts Managers Advisory Committee of the Ford and Lincoln-Mercury Dealer Councils and is an extension of the present Vehicle Emission Control Information (VECI) Replacement Label Program.

Program Scope
The label program begins with the 1993 model year. Prior model years will not be serviced at this time.

Replacement VECI labels continue to be available for model years 1980 to current model.

This program is intended to supply replacement labels for one vehicle at a time.

Ordering Procedures
Twenty four pre-addressed label ordering cards and personalize pressure sensitive dealer address labels are supplied with this program introduction letter.

Write in the vehicle identification number (VIN) and the part number of each label you want to order. Use the same order card for VECI and other information/ warning labels. Apply the dealer address label. Fold the order card in half and close with tape or staple. Add postage and mail.

If you need more than five labels for one vehicle, include an extra sheet of paper listing the part numbers inside the fold. This will avoid the additional handling charge of using two order cards.

Orders will be picked up and shipped same day or next day.

The program will keep track of your orders and automatically send new label order cards and address labels before you have used your entire stock.

Please discard all previous editions of the label ordering card. Use only the January 3, 1993 version.

Ordering Charges
An order fee of $5.00 will be charged for each order card submitted plus $1.00 for each label shipped. Order charges will be posted to your monthly statement form the division. VECI labels are now included in the order fee.

When Label Stock Is Exhausted
The program will always retain one label of each part number. Orders received after stock is exhausted will be filled with a xerox copy of the label along with a clear overlay. You will not be charged for facsimile copies of labels...you will be charged the $5.00 transaction fee. This same procedure is used with the present replacement VECI label program.
