With Moveable Liftgate Glass

WIPER OPERATION
With the Ignition Switch in ACC or RUN, battery voltage is applied to the Rear Wiper Relay. When the RR Wiper/Washer Switch is in the ON position, a ground signal is applied to the Rear Wiper Motor Assembly via the Rear Wiper/ Washer Diode Junction Box and circuits WB05 (BL/Y) and WB14 (LG/BK). If the Liftgate glass is closed, the Rear Wiper Relay remains unenergized and battery voltage is applied to the Rear Wiper Motor Assembly through the normally closed contacts of the relay. The Rear Wiper Motor Assembly runs as long as the RR Wiper/Washer Switch is in the "ON" position. When the Wiper is placed in the off position, the ground path via circuit WB18 (BL/Y) and WB08 (BL/Y) is broken. The Motor finds a ground through the RR Wiper/Washer Switch contacts and the BK wire. When the Motor reaches the park position, this ground path is broken and the Motor comes to rest at the "PARK" position. If the liftgate glass is open, the Liftgate Latch Switch closes, applying ground to and energizing the Rear Wiper Relay. All voltage to the Wiper Motor is interrupted and the Rear Wiper Motor Assembly does not run.

WASHER OPERATION
When the RR Wiper/Washer Switch is held in the ON position, ground is applied to the Rear Washer Motor. The Rear Washer Motor runs until the Switch is released. While the RR Wiper/Washer Switch is being held, the ground signal on the WB15 (GN) circuit finds a ground path to the Rear Wiper Motor Assembly through the Diode Junction Box and circuit WB17 (BL). The Rear Wiper Motor Assembly runs as long as the Washer Switch is held and parks as described earlier when this Switch is released. If the liftgate glass is open, the Liftgate Latch Switch closes, applying ground to and energizing the Rear Wiper Relay. All voltage to the Rear Washer Motor is interrupted and the Rear Washer Motor does not run.
